The legendary Dwarf Fortress is now on Steam. The bookkeeper is an appointed noble who updates the stocks and created wealth screens with more accurate information. Personally, I find it easier to place the Noble's office & dining room within their quarters, since value can be shared. The deepest, most intricate simulation of a world thats ever been created. It’s also a labor of love lasting two decades that is about to get a Steam release.

In the classic version, isn't there a way to assign the office to the for example, 'manager' position itself, rather than the dwarf who is the current manager. Dwarf Fortress is a colony simulator game but that glosses over so much of what Dwarf Fortress is.
